Art Camp

With Karen Garrett

Young artists will have a blast painting! Each child will create a one-of-a-kind, abstract, multi-media, frame-worthy masterpiece that parents will cherish. Art supplies are provided. (minimum 4 / maximum 8 participants)

Texas Boys and Girls Basketball Camp

With Terrence Raford

Terrence Raford conducts this “skills and drills” basketball camp for boys and girls. The goal of the camp is to increase the student’s knowledge and skill of the game. It will emphasize the fundamentals of basketball with drills in defense, offense, passing, rebounding and shooting. (minimum 10 / maximum 24 participants)

Bricks 4 Kidz – Super Hero Camp

Children will be able to create a fantasy world and protect it against all the evil arch enemies with custom contraptions made with LEGO bricks. (minimum 4 / maximum 8 participants)

Camp Einstein Engineering and Science Camp

Creativity and ingenuity are what this camp is all about. Children can design catapults, explore chemical reactions and build rockets to launch into the sky. This camp is perfect for the engineering and science minded student who loves to build, create and see how things work. (minimum 5 / maximum 8 participants)

Chess Camp

Enjoy a week of summer fun with K.I.N.G. Chess League! Children learn about history of the game, names of the pieces, how the pieces move, board setup, general strategies, chess terms and definitions, chess art, time controlled chess using the chess clock and how to notate. There will be an end-of-camp tournament. (minimum 4 participants)

Gymnastics Camp

Imaginarium Camp

St. Martin’s Episcopal Preschool teachers Mary Johnson and Katrina Murchison are hosting a creative camp with fun-filled activities that include a literacy and math skills refresher course, science exploration, storytelling, dramatization and art. (minimum 10 / maximum 16 participants)

Little Birdies Golf Classes

Little Birdies Golf Academy introduces the historic and life-long game of golf to youth through lessons that teach the intricacies of the whole game, everything from the history of the game, to scoring, to the full swing, to putting and chipping – all while incorporating a whole lot of fun! Lessons are built on fundamental key character traits needed for the game of golf as well as life. (minimum 4 / maximum 8 participants)

Mad Science – Sprouting Scientists

Children learn about plants by dissecting seeds, making leaf rubbings and creating farmable fruit and veggie prints. They can investigate the world of worms and put on a bee-utiful bug costume and flutter by the camp as they learn about one of a flower’s favorite pollinators. (minimum 6 participants)

Mad Science – How Does It Work?

Children can take an in-depth look at the science behind everyday machines and cool science by constructing amazing kaleidoscopes, learning about levers and automatons, and creating their own contraptions. In the process they even become architects by building their own geodesic dome.

Ninja Camp

Soccer Shots

Soccer Shots is a nationally recognized program that offers a high energy, fun and age-appropriate introduction to the world of soccer. The innovative curriculum emphasizes both soccer skills and character development. Each child receives a Soccer Shots soccer ball and t-shirt, as well as certificate, end-of-camp prize and player evaluation. (maximum 30 participants)

Woodworking Camp

These classes for boys and girls are taught by Linda Engelland who has a BS in education from The University of Texas and is an AMS Montessori certified teacher. She has successfully taught woodworking to children for more than 15 years. (maximum 8 students for Woodworking I and II; 5 students for Advanced Woodworking)

Pre-piano Lessons

With Marilyn Hanovich

Pre-piano music classes are especially designed to prepare children to learn the keyboard. These future musicians will learn rhythm, notes on the keyboard  and fingering. The class incorporates the use of musical games and “ just fun with the piano”.

Classes are available for children 3½ – 6 years of age.
