Camp Einstein – STEM Lab: Engineering and Science Camp

Creativity and ingenuity are what this camp is all about. Children can design catapults, explore chemical reactions and build rockets to launch into the sky. This camp is perfect for the engineering and science minded student who loves to build, create and see how things work. (minimum 5 / maximum 8 participants)

Gymnastics Camp

Come spend the week with Coach Mark Whether of Brown’s Gymnastics as we work on the balance beam, mini-trampoline and floor tumbling. We will mix in health, fitness and well-being information with fun, games and prizes.

Imaginarium Camp

St. Martin’s Episcopal Preschool teachers Mary Johnson and Katrina Murchison are hosting a creative camp with fun-filled activities that include a literacy and math skills refresher course, science exploration, storytelling, dramatization and art. (minimum 10 / maximum 16 participants)

Ages 4 – 5

Mad Science – Sprouting Scientists

Children learn about plants by dissecting seeds, making leaf rubbings and creating farmable fruit and veggie prints. They can investigate the world of worms and put on a bee-utiful bug costume and flutter by the camp as they learn about one of a flower’s favorite pollinators. (minimum 6 participants)

Ninja Camp

With Master Bruce
Children will have fun with a wide range of activities, including Tae Kwon Do, Bo and Nunchucks, as well as making their own shirt and other fun games. (minimum 7 / maximum 20 participants)

Soccer Shots

Soccer Shots is a nationally recognized program that offers a high energy, fun and age-appropriate introduction to the world of soccer. The innovative curriculum emphasizes both soccer skills and character development. Each child receives a Soccer Shots soccer ball and t-shirt, as well as certificate, end-of-camp prize and player evaluation. (maximum 30 participants)

Triumph Sports – Basketball Camp

This basketball camp covers the basics of dribbling, passing and shooting. These campers will not only learn skills, but also have a great time! (maximum 24 participants)

Triumph Sports – Dodgeball Camp

This camp features lots of dodgeball in many different forms. Kids learn throwing, catching, dodging, as well as basic dodgeball strategy. We use Rhino Skin Dodgeballs and group kids by age. (maximum 24 participants)

Triumph Sports – Multi-sport Camp

This is a multi-sport camp consisting of fun games like dodgeball, kickball, capture the flag, and other games revolving around classic sports like basketball, flag football and soccer. (maximum 24 participants)

Woodworking for Young Children

With Linda Engelland
These classes for boys and girls are taught by Linda Engelland who has a BS in education from The University of Texas and is an AMS Montessori certified teacher. She has successfully taught woodworking to children for more than 15 years. (maximum 8 participants for Woodworking I and II; 6 participants for Advanced Woodworking)

Monday – Thursday, July 30 – August 2

10:30 a.m. – noon (this class is full and closed)
Woodworking I, ages 4½ – 7

12:30 – 2 p.m.
Woodworking II, ages 5 – 11 (must have taken Woodworking I or be an 8 – 11-year-old beginner)

2:15 – 3:45 p.m. (this class is full and closed)
Advanced Woodworking, ages 5 – 11 (must have taken Woodworking II)

Pre-piano Lessons

With Marilyn Hanovich

Pre-piano music classes are especially designed to prepare children to learn the keyboard. These future musicians will learn rhythm, notes on the keyboard  and fingering. The class incorporates the use of musical games and “ just fun with the piano”.

Classes are available for children 3½ – 6 years of age.
