Camp Einstein – STEM Lab: Engineering and Science Camp

Creativity and ingenuity are what this camp is all about. Children can design catapults, explore chemical reactions and build rockets to launch into the sky. This camp is perfect for the engineering and science minded student who loves to build, create and see how things work. (minimum 5 / maximum 8 participants)

Creative Camp – Cardboard Boats

With Karen Garrett
Each ship builder will design, build and paint a boat to sail in the fountain. This class is for kids who can’t sit still. We will have a blast using our creativity to use all kinds of found items, tape, fabric, glue, etc. to build each one-of-a-kind boat. All materials are provided. (minimum 4 / maximum 8 participants)

Creative Camp – Cardboard Forts

Each child will design, build, paint and decorate a life-sized, cardboard fort. This class is very creative and energetic. We will be using our imaginations to turn this room into a fortress built for kings, queens and knights. All materials are provided. (minimum 4 / maximum 8 participants)

Creative Camp – Cardboard Playhouses

Creative Camp – Fashion Design and Illustration

Each fashion designer will learn to draw the nine head-length French fashion figures and use professional illustration markers to design their fashion line just like they do in New York, London, Hong Kong and Paris. All materials are provided. (minimum 4 / maximum 8 participants)

Creative Camp – Fashion Design/Modeling Runway

Creative Camp – Life-sized Self-portraits

Each artist will create a life-sized self-portrait using a multi-media collage technique. This class is super lively with artists digging in boxes of supplies, gluing, cutting, painting, drawing, etc. to create their portrait. All materials are provided. (minimum 4 / maximum 8 participants)

Creative Camp – Make and Fly a Kite

Creative Camp – Spa Girls

Gymnastics Camp

Come spend the week with Coach Mark Whether of Brown’s Gymnastics as we work on the balance beam, mini-trampoline and floor tumbling. We will mix in health, fitness and well-being information with fun, games and prizes.

Imaginarium Camp

St. Martin’s Episcopal Preschool teachers Mary Johnson and Katrina Murchison are hosting a creative camp with fun-filled activities that include a literacy and math skills refresher course, science exploration, storytelling, dramatization and art. (minimum 10 / maximum 16 participants)

Little Birdies Golf Camp

Little Birdies Golf Academy introduces the historic and life-long game of golf to youth through lessons that teach the intricacies of the whole game, everything from the history of the game, to scoring, to the full swing, to putting and chipping – all while incorporating a whole lot of fun! Lessons are built on fundamental key character traits needed for the game of golf as well as life. (minimum 5 / maximum 8 participants)

Mad Science – Sprouting Scientists

Children learn about plants by dissecting seeds, making leaf rubbings and creating farmable fruit and veggie prints. They can investigate the world of worms and put on a bee-utiful bug costume and flutter by the camp as they learn about one of a flower’s favorite pollinators. (minimum 6 participants)

Ninja Camp

Soccer Shots

Soccer Shots is a nationally recognized program that offers a high energy, fun and age-appropriate introduction to the world of soccer. The innovative curriculum emphasizes both soccer skills and character development. Each child receives a Soccer Shots soccer ball and t-shirt, as well as certificate, end-of-camp prize and player evaluation. (maximum 30 participants)

Texas Boys and Girls Basketball Camp

With Terrence Raford
Terrence Raford conducts this “skills and drills” basketball camp for boys and girls. The goal of the camp is to increase the student’s knowledge and skill of the game. It will emphasize the fundamentals of basketball with drills in defense, offense, passing, rebounding and shooting. (minimum 8 / maximum 24 participants)

Triumph Sports – Basketball Camp

This basketball camp covers the basics of dribbling, passing and shooting. These campers will not only learn skills, but also have a great time! (maximum 24 participants)

Triumph Sports – Dodgeball Camp

This camp features lots of dodgeball in many different forms. Kids learn throwing, catching, dodging, as well as basic dodgeball strategy. We use Rhino Skin Dodgeballs and group kids by age. (maximum 24 participants)

Triumph Sports – Multi-sport Camp

This is a multi-sport camp consisting of fun games like dodgeball, kickball, capture the flag, and other games revolving around classic sports like basketball, flag football and soccer. (maximum 24 participants)

Woodworking for Young Children

These classes for boys and girls are taught by Linda Engelland who has a BS in education from The University of Texas and is an AMS Montessori certified teacher. She has successfully taught woodworking to children for more than 15 years. (maximum 8 participants for Woodworking I and II; 6 participants for Advanced Woodworking)

Pre-piano Lessons

With Marilyn Hanovich

Pre-piano music classes are especially designed to prepare children to learn the keyboard. These future musicians will learn rhythm, notes on the keyboard  and fingering. The class incorporates the use of musical games and “ just fun with the piano”.

Classes are available for children 3½ – 6 years of age.
