St. Martin’s Activity Center Exercise Classes

This class offers a calorie torching, hip-swiveling, beat-pumping dance party workout with a hot playlist to distract you from the burn. Our classes–Dance Mixx, Fusion, Core, Strength and Strike–will leave you breathless, toned and coming back for more.
Monday–Thursday, 4:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday, 9:15 a.m.

Swaybody Fitness Pilates offers a variety of classes to help you learn how to maintain a healthier lifestyle, lose weight and get lean. Classes are small, motivating, and ensure everyone has proper form all while having a good time! The routines change weekly, use a variety of props and motivate to make you challenge your body that will keep you returning. Norma ensures her clients are comfortable in class and get personal attention.Overall, everyone will receive a good workout with results! Classes are for all levels.
You may register at the beginning of the session or during the session. Classes are 55 minutes long and the instructor will provide equipment.

T’ai Chi Ch’uan

T’ai Chi Ch’uan is an exercise method that is approximately 400 years old. Created in China, it was originally a martial art used for self defense. Over the past 70 years, the emphasis on T’ai Chi Ch’uan as a martial art has lessened and its promotion as a low impact aerobic exercise for all ages has grown. The class accepts all interested people beginning at age 15. There is no experience required. Modifications are made to accommodate all health and fitness levels. This class is ongoing and new students are accepted at the beginning of each month. Jogging type pants and T-shirts are ideal. Soft, flexible tennis or court shoes are recommended.
Instructors Greg and Betty Watson have been practicing T’ai Chi since 1982 and have studied with Grandmaster Jurong Wang both in the United States and China.
Mondays and Wednesdays 7–8:30 p.m.
Fees: One class per week $30 / Two classes per week $40 (Quarterly and family/household discounts are available.)
