These medium-sized groups led by our Clergy will continue to study Jesus’ parables – some of the most famous, most powerful, most puzzling stories ever told. Using The Rediscovered Country – A Peer Group Guide to the Parables, we will study the Rev. Robert Farrar Capon’s classical book on the parables, Kingdom, Grace, Judgment. No matter how familiar we may (or may not) be with Jesus’ parables, come ready to be surprised. Parents of Young Children Payne Education Center, Room 210/212 During the first three weeks in January, this class will focus on “Four Essentials in a Healthy Christian Marriage” in place of the parables teachings for the other peer groups. Topics to be discussed by the Rev. Dr. Russell J. Levenson, Jr. and the Rev. Alex Large will include communication and conflict, God-centered marriage, and money, possessions and kids – yours, mine or ours. 40s and 50s Location to be announced This group is looking forward to a great year.
