Flowers beautify the sacred spaces of our church, and are a gift to God and those who attend our worship services. The cost of Altar flowers is funded through generous donations to the St. Martin’s Flower Fund and not through a line item in the church budget. A contribution to the Flower Fund is a meaningful way to honor or remember a loved one. It is also tax deductible. Dedications made during the Lenten season are for greenery rather than flowers.
The costs of the Altar flowers (greenery during Lent) based on location are as follows:
$150 – Chapel
$150 – Narthex
$150 – Old Church
$375 – The Church (total cost for the two flower arrangements)
Thank you for your donation to the St. Martin’s Flower Fund.
The deadline for Easter, April 1 flower dedications to appear in the worship booklet was Monday, February 26. Any requests received after the deadline will be published in a future issue of The Star.
