Christian Life Study – Seeking God’s Truth Through His Word

The Gospel of John

Thursdays, September 19, 2019–April 30, 2020

Christian Life Study is a Bible study that seeks to strengthen your relationship with God through the study of His Word. You will learn about God’s plan of redemption for all people through the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, and see how the Holy Spirit has moved throughout this redemptive history. The class involves home study, small group discussion, worship music and relevant teaching. We follow a three-year cycle of Old Testament, Gospel and New Testament study. Our fellowship is loving and welcoming, and your faith is guaranteed to grow! No prior Bible knowledge is necessary; the class is open to any who wish to join at any time. All denominations are welcome and no church affiliation is necessary.

The class remains open to visitors and new members throughout the year. Child care for ages 6 weeks to three years and our nurturing Godly Play program for ages three to five years are offered and recommended. Godly Play is a sensory motor program that introduces preschoolers to the wonder of God. Children and grandchildren of those attending the class are very welcome.

This year we study the Gospel of John. He wrote his gospel to inspire faith. John knew Jesus intimately and his gospel provides an intimate portrait of the Lord. John referred to himself as “the disciple Jesus loved.” His gospel has become the “beloved Gospel” of the church. The day class also will include a study of the Beatitudes in March. The evening class will study the Gospel of John the entire year.
