October is World Missions Month
Learn How to Get Involved

World Missions at St. Martin’s invites you to prayerfully consider how to join a mission partner in their essential work of building mutually transformative relationships focused on sharing faith, knowledge, experiences and resources with our global neighbors. Both local and global mission opportunities are available. Whether you want to stay close to home or travel halfway around the world, there is a program ready to help deepen your faith and empower you to boldly proclaim “by word and example the Good News of God in Christ” to all.

Prayer Postcards for our Ministry Partners across the Globe
Pick up pre-printed prayer postcards during October. Decorate and return when convenient. Postcards can be picked up from the front reception desk during the week, Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m., or the Parish Life Center Narthex on Sunday mornings.

Prayer Postcards for our Ministry Partners across the Globe

Make a global impact at St. Martin’s during Sunday School in the Activity Center Gym by decorating Prayer Postcards for Africa New Life, Amistad Mission, Faith in Practice, Sus Hijos, and Village Schools International. All ages are welcome!

Family Table and Riverway Services

Chris King, Executive Director of Amistad Mission, will be our guest at Family Table and Riverway! Come hear about our ministry partner, Amistad Mission. Amistad Mission provides nurturing Christian family environments for vulnerable Bolivian children to grow to independent adulthood and to strengthen families in crisis to establish loving and stable homes. Chris King will also be sharing about St. Martin’s upcoming trip to visit the kids at Casa San Martin in late June!

Come decorate Birthday cards with Chris King from Amistad Mission! We want each kid at Amistad to get a birthday card from St. Martin’s in 2027!

Seafarer’s Christmas Gift Box Packing and Wrapping

Children’s Life Center

Come help pack shoeboxes and wrap them for the Houston International Seafarer’s Center. These gifts will be delivered to the Port of Houston and given out to all the crews who come into port during the holidays.
